Jose B. Gonzalez is a Hispanic American poet and educator. He is the author of the poetry collection, Toys Made of Rock (Bilingual Review Press, 2015),〔http://bilingualpress.clas.asu.edu/book/toys-made-rock〕 and the Co-Editor of the major work, Latino Boom: An Anthology of U.S. Latino Literature. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in 1967, where he lived until he was eight. He and his family then moved to New London, Connecticut. He is a graduate of Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science, Brown University with a Masters in Teaching English, and the University of Rhode Island with a Ph.D. in English. As of December 2011 he is a professor of English at the United States Coast Guard Academy, in New London.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.cga.edu/display.aspx?id=7296 )〕 He has appeared as a guest poet on Univision and American Latino TV.
